🍦 Cold Stone Spirit Night
Thank you to everyone who stopped by our Cold Stone fundraiser—being a “guest scooper” was a blast! Your sweet tooth raised money for our school, and we loved seeing so many smiling faces. (Scroll down for a few fun photos.)
💦 Super‑Soaked Principals!
On Tuesday, Mrs. Andersen and I bravely kept our promise: every 3rd‑‑6th grader with perfect CMAS attendance earned a chance to douse us with water. It was chilly but worth it to celebrate their commitment to showing up on time and ready to test. Thanks for ensuring your children were here each day—attendance makes a difference!

PEANUT BUTTER & JELLY FOOD DRIVE:
CME Student Leadership is teaming up with The Backpack Society for a drive to collect two of their most needed pantry ideas - peanut butter and jelly. Spring is here! This time of year always reminds me of how quickly the end of year comes around. That always means to me time for a BOOK FAIR! Kindergarten registration If you are currently enrolled in DCSD Preschool and you live in our boundary, you will automatically roll to us! All other Kindergarten students, enroll at the above link! If you live outside of our boundary but would like to attend CME, please open enroll here!
PARENT SUMMIT:
We’re excited to invite you to our upcoming Parent Summit on Tuesday, April 30th from 5:00–7:30 PM here at SVE!
This special evening is designed just for parents, featuring a dynamic keynote speaker and a variety of engaging sessions focused on supporting students both at home and at school. You can preview the full lineup of topics in the attached flyer and on the registration form.
Please be sure to register in advance so we can plan accordingly for seating and space.
