Hello Cougar Families! We made it to May! We have officially finished our CMAS testing and almost finished with iReady. Our kids have been rockin’ it and our teachers have gotten their steps in! We hope to see you all at our Spring Fundraiser event on Sunday from 2:30-4:30. It will be on our field with so much family fun!
Braggin’ Rights - Well…for the 3rd year in a row, CME has won the John Irwin Academic Achievement award for 2024! Additionally, we are also being awarded the Governor's Distinction Award for student growth in 2024. We are so proud of our staff and students and it looks like we will get some more braggin’ banners! If you would like to join us in listening to Erin Kane’s State of the District and watch us receive our awards, it will be at Legacy Campus on May 8 from 5:00-7:00. We are 1 of 6 schools in the district to win both awards! Way to go Cougars!
Employee Appreciation Week - Next week DCSD is celebrating our appreciation for our employees. Teacher Appreciation Day is on Tuesday, so please encourage your kiddos to do something nice for their teachers that day! PTO has set up fun things for our staff all week long. Thank you all so much for showing our peeps some love!
